What it's about
Our Hawk Elementary PTA believes every child deserves a school experience filled with opportunity and support. Our mission is to assist students, faculty, and staff by providing as many needed, useful, and/or requested items with the funds we raise.
This year, we are launching our Hawk Elementary PTA Glow Dance-A-Thon to raise $20,000 or more for upcoming projects and activities that will directly and positively impact the students and their school experience. We will also be giving out prizes to the top four raisers!! Also, for every $25 raised by a student, their name will be entered into a drawing for prizes!
How You Can Help:
Donate Online: Donate through Zeffy (CLICK HERE to go to Zeffy).
Send a Check: Make checks payable to "Hawk Elementary PTA" and be sure to write the student or teacher’s name for them to get credit for the donation. Checks can be mailed to the school C/O the PTA or deposited in the silver cash box outside of the PTA office.
Send Cash: Cash can be dropped off in the silver locked box outside of the PTA office during the donation period. Please be sure to write the student and teacher’s name for them to get credit for the donation.
Volunteer: We are also looking for volunteers for the Dance-A-Thon event on April 30, 2026. You can CLICK HERE to sign-up to help!
Company Matching: Check if your employer matches donations to double your impact.
Tax-deductible: Your donations are tax-deductible as the Hawk Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3).

Overall top 3 students with most funds raised:
First Place: Pie the Principal!!- Pie Mr. Visserman in the face during a Lighthouse Assembly with the WHOLE school watching and cheering you on!
Second Place: Lunch for you and a friend with Mr. Visserman- The PTA will provide a special lunch for you and a guest for a private lunch with Mr. Visserman.
Third Place: Yummy lunch- your lunch will be delivered to you from a restaurant (a restaurant list will be provided to the winner) and delivered by the PTA.
TOP 10 WINNERS FROM A DRAWING (one ticket for every $50 donated- not including the top three winners):
A sidewalk chalk party with a treat (like popsicles) during school.
TOP EARNER IN EACH GRADE:
Playground DJ- Pick three approved songs to have played during your class recess over loudspeakers on the playground!
INCENTIVES:
When $200 is raised by a class- Popcorn
When $500 is raised by a class- popsicle or ice cream party
The first two classes to raise $1000 will get a pizza party!!
